STARTEC is a three year, FP7 EU Funded project which started in February 2012.
Welcome to the STARTEC website.
STARTEC is a three year, EC-funded project which started in February 2012, to develop tools that providers of convenient and ready-to-eat (RTE) products can use in their risk assessment and decision support in daily business, in negotiations with suppliers and customers, and for in-house product and process development. These tools will make it possible for food providers to be innovative without compromising food safety and quality. The tools will also be used for food authorities, policy makers, researchers, risk managers and other personnel working with convenient and RTE foods.
Dr. Taran Skjerdal, Norwegian Veterinary Institute, Oslo (Coordinator)
